It 's a question I have asked these days in order to start a discussion and a constructive exchange of ideas with bloggers (s) dealing with issues similar to those of KosmoFysis.

For these reasons I set a good pace and I began to search with various search engines ... ...

Well! I must admit that my research has shown that the Italian situation is really disappointing, perhaps a sign of intellectual decay of the country in every way that we absolutely must avoid!!

I concentrated my research almost exclusively to astronomy (although a subsequent case in other scientific disciplines was not encouraging at all) ... .. and here the first nasty surprise ....

I type of astronomy blog on Google and link appear only 24 actual topic!! Now click on each to check the contents. Some abandon them immediately, as too general and among them could only find a few posts there, put some randomly among many other topics. In other cases I have found the existence of blogs which were posted an average of only 10 articles per year. In some cases items consisted of simple definitions to the glossary!

I think: "Wow is not really possible. ... In a country with about 60 million people someone must have made more effort !!!". I begin to see something better ... but a closer examination I realize that in many cases the activity consisted of a simple copy and paste.

Feel that it is perhaps a little too exaggerated (and certainly many good things have passed me), but eventually the blogs of note are reduced to only 3! I decided to transcribe below:

1) http://antaresnotizie.blogspot.com/

This blog Amateur Astronomers Group of Antares is very active.

2) http://www.sidereus-nuncius.info/category/astrofisica/

This blog is really interesting and actually, as stated by the author (Vito Lecci) is really a blog with daily update on: Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space ... and the surroundings.

3) http://www.keplero.org/

Blog Amedeo Balbi, really interesting, enjoyable read and full of many ideas. Some time ago he asked the same question on blogs scientific Italy, highlighting many interesting blogs. I invite you to read his post if you would like to investigate this: http://www.keplero.org/2007/02/blog-e-scienza-in-italia.html
