There are places on Earth where the Milky Way in the night sky, is fragmented into clouds so bright to dimly illuminate the ground around, places where the stars seem closer, almost within reach. Unfortunately for most of us, residents of polluted cities, that extraordinary celestial spectacle is inaccessible and far, far away.

The hottest planet known planet in the Milky Way is doomed to be swallowed by its parent star, according to remarks made by a new instrument of NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph (COS).
A new powerful image analysis technique will allow astronomers to discover extrasolar planets so far remained "hidden" data from NASA archives.
